![]() ![]() if UAD keep their word and send me the free promotional UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt 3 Octo.Īnd I feel sorry for the support guys having to regurgitate the same official "fixes" to guys like me. some Mac user is probably gonna get a great deal on my Apollo x8p and Satellite. Since the chances of them fixing their drivers is next to nothing, after two years. UAD's claims of their Thunderbolt 3 compatibility with Windows is downright fraudulent. and hanging their users out to dry is sickening. Reading up, here in these forums, on the amount of time UAD has neglected its Windows ASIO and WDM drivers. but does it without crackling and popping. across all rate/depth and buffer settings. I can't believe my $400 Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 out performs the $3K Apollo x8p with round trip latency using the same amount of inputs and outputs. but now I have the dreaded crackling and popping from UAD's pathetic Windows drivers. updated immediately (thanks again d-money92!!!). Hunted down a willing Mac participant with Thunderbolt 3. Any input is much appreciated! Thank you! I'm starting to think if it's not a driver issue, it's my Apollo, but I find that harder to believe. ![]() Hard resets, and what feels like everything! Windows states in Device Manager the device needs further installation? I could be wrong but man, I've literally tried everything. ![]() ![]() In the TB panel, the Apollo is detected in the device tree, but now this seems to me like it's a driver issue on UA's part. I have reinstalled, uninstalled, installed older versions of UAD (such as 9.6.1) and still, nothing. I have the latest TB3 driver for my AIC which is 17.4.76.300 (I've also used older versions such as the one Gigabyte has on their site) as shown below: I get an Error Code 10 in Device Manager stating - "The device cannot start" Now the problem is I can't for the life of me get my Apollo to initialize under Windows. CableMatters Certified active TB3 cable I have tried TWO certified Thunderbolt 3 cables with no avail: I have tested this card with other TB3 accessories such as the Razer Core X and TB3 storage enclosures and it is indeed functional. I am running a Gigabyte Alpine Ridge (rev 2.0) AIC fully functional with Windows 10 build 1809 圆4. Now, this has been the most frustrating experience ever. So I finally got my shiny new Apollo X8 and initially, I was like a kid in a candy store. ![]()
